A very special day

The arrival of Miguel A. Torres in Chile in 1979 was not a chance event, but the beginning of a technical and social revolution.

Finding a phytosanitary paradise (where phylloxera never arrived), the Torres family applied their European expertise to create a new identity for Chilean wine. Key Figures in the Transformation:

Cradle of Innovation: They introduced stainless steel for clean fermentations, a practice that did not exist in Chile in the 1970s.

Organic Commitment: The winery manages over 400 hectares under organic certification, promoting living soils and biodiversity.

Fair Trade: Miguel Torres Chile was the first export winery to obtain Fair for Life certification, ensuring that economic success benefits workers and local communities.
